Steam-Est Industries gratefully acknowledges the lands we live and work on are Treaty 4 & Treaty 2 Territory. We will learn from and care for this land and water. These lands have long been the home to the Nêhiyawak (Cree), Anihsinapek (Saulteaux), Dene, Nakoda, Lakota, and Dakota peoples and the traditional homeland of the Métis. Today, these lands continue to be the shared territory of many diverse peoples from near and far.

We acknowledge the ancestors who have walked before us as well as the generations to come. We recognize the harms and injustices of the past and present. To reaffirm our relationships to one another, Steam-Est Industries dedicates our efforts to working together in a spirit of collaboration and reconciliation. We are committed to making reconciliation a part of all interactions amongst Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, organizations, and community stakeholders.

We are all Treaty people. “As long as the sun shines, the grass grows and the rivers flow.”
